Ocean View School District provides a District Instructional Resource Center located in Building E which houses library books, class sets of core literature, award winning books, skill builders, big books and audio tapes, multi-media kits, computer software, videos, and audiovisual equipment to be used by teachers in the classroom to support the instructional program. Resources are checked in and out to teachers and circulated to the schools as requested. Integrated teaching units are also available in the Resource Center which enhance the core curriculum.
Also located in Building E is the District’s "Art Lab." This resource is for teachers to use to enhance their classroom program. Bulletin board ideas, report covers, posters, letters and all the paper and art materials are available in the "Art Lab" for teachers to use to create an attractive classroom environment. The Center also provides laminators, paper cutters, button makers, and a book binding machine for use by teachers.
